The main motivating factor for me, coming into this industry, was not the money. Although I wanted a decent income it was more about gaining time. Time to do what I chose to do, and to do it with the people I chose to do it with, my family and friends. Well after a conversation with a friend of mine, and with my wife Kate, I realised that I have practically achieved that within 12 months! So the money is nice .... but it's not the be all and end all!
